Fashion Week Panama: Fashion with a Sense of Ethics


This month, the Panamanian capital celebrates creativity and international fashion with the 2019 edition of the now-traditional Fashion Week Panama. Close to twenty national and international designers and fashion houses will present their work on catwalks and at other events, including conferences and backstage activities. Educational programming will focus on ethical fashion, addressing issues such as social and environmental responsibility, artisanal production, and empowerment and economic sustainability for women. 

Fashion Week Panama 2019 will be dedicated to the Panamanian Association for Family Planning (APLAFA), a non-profit organization that has helped improve the quality of life in Panama for more than fifty years through sexual and reproductive education initiatives.
