Since 2013, the Centroamérica Cuenta literary festival has celebrated the stories of the region and explored their relationship with journalism, film, and music. The festival returns in 2019 with an enticing program that offers attendees the opportunity to explore Central American identity, tell stories, and question reality without renouncing utopia.
There will be more than a hundred participants and a program that includes 52 talks, 25 book presentations, conferences, workshops, and a photo exhibit. For the first time, the event will be held in the city of San Jose, Costa Rica due to the current situation in Nicaragua.
