Canada has the Best Gender-Equality Laws

According to the World Bank report, “Women, Business and the Law 2020,” Canada has some of the best laws for ensuring women’s progress. The study analyzes topics such as freedom of movement, labor rights, empowerment, and asset management. Belgium, Denmark, France, Iceland, Latvia, Luxemburg, and Sweden also earned perfect scores of 100. The average score is 75.2, meaning that women have 75% of the rights that men enjoy.
